Riveal ("we", "our", "us") operates the Riveal mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional username. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

Videos: When you create a Riveal, your video is uploaded to our servers. When you open a Riveal, your reaction video may be recorded and uploaded with your consent.

Device information: We collect your push notification token to send you notifications about received Riveals.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Riveal service
• To send and receive video messages between users
• To send push notifications about new Riveals and reactions
• To enable friend discovery via username search

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in the EU (eu-west-1). Videos are stored in cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Videos you send are shared only with the intended recipient. We may share data with:

• Supabase (hosting and database provider)
• Expo (push notification delivery)
• Google (if you use Google Sign-In)

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access and update your profile information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings
• Disable push notifications from your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

Riveal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
